Job description

Are you looking for a role where you can combine your expertise, experience, and leadership ambition?

We are looking for an experienced Java engineer with team-lead experience. You will lead a small development team, contribute to architectural design, and develop new features for a stable fintech product.

You can expect:

Lead the team through design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Own code quality, code reviews, and release processes
Develop in Java, Spring, T-SQL
Contribute to architecture and optimize existing solutions
Collaborate with Product on planning and prioritization
Mentor and provide technical guidance to developers

Requirements

Our client requires:

5+ years of experience with Java / Spring
Proven team-lead or tech-lead experience
Advanced SQL and experience with REST APIs
Strong understanding of Git and branching strategies
English at C1 level
Ability to work onsite in Prague on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Nice to have: React/Vue, Spring Cloud, Docker, messaging systems
